The question is: do you want to run faster?

Whenever athletes are asked how much of the sport is mental and how much is physical, they almost always say it’s at least 80% mental. But in reality, nowhere near 80% (not even 10% really) is paid to intentionally developing our mental strength. It’s the performance enhancer that very few are focusing on.
Sport allows us to learn more about ourselves, the workings of our minds, and how to apply what we’ve learned and practiced in the “arena” to other aspects in life. My mission is to make you so confident in your abilities that you are certain you can take on any of life’s challenges.
As part of the process, we will schedule a weekly 30-minute chat to discover different approaches you can apply to your training experience.
-
Whether you’ve just started running or are performing at an elite level, you will have access to everything you need to achieve your goals (and enjoy the process along the way).
All I ask is that you’re willing to invest in yourself, that’s it.
-
We will schedule a chat to discuss your previous training (including injury history), current fitness level and future aims.
-
You will receive a personalised training plan which will be based on you as an athlete, but also taking into consideration your general life commitments and priorities.
The training plan will include the running side of things, but also strength training, injury prevention exercises, and tips for how to develop an elite mindset - whatever you feel you need to achieve your goals.

This is the big one. I will create videos explaining the most important things I’ve learnt in my 16 years in the sport.
Not only this, but you can request videos to be made by me on topics related to your training. From “how to get off the sofa and out the door” to “how to channel your nerves on race day”, I’ve got you covered.
I will post these tips on a platform available for every The Crick Process athlete to view. The more you invest in the program, the more you (and others) will benefit. You won’t find this anywhere else.
-
Our relationship is crucial to your success and enjoyment. I want to build this with you by offering 24/7 support on WhatsApp.
-
We can adapt your training plan whenever necessary. Running is complex, life is complex, and so we’ll adapt accordingly.

Don’t worry at all! In fact, setbacks are perfect opportunities for growth, and we’ll make sure you come back stronger, physically and mentally.
I’ve got lots of experience (more than I’d like to admit) at improving mental and physical fitness whilst injured. I’ve had times where I’ve come back after not running for several months and have smashed PBs in my first couple of races back (crazy right?).
I will create a suitable cross training plan for you, and find ways to make the return to running as manageable as possible.
I don’t like to see athletes waiting for the injury to pass to then get back into training. It’s all about putting the groundwork in so you can hit the ground running (literally).
